Downloading Torrents with uTorrent
If you've never downloaded media through a torrent program before, this step-by-step guide will help you get started.
The first step is to go to a torrent site and find something you want to download. I'll be downloading an audio book(mp3) from this site.
You should see a page that looks something like this, with a "Download" or "Download this Torrent" link on it somewhere. Click there to begin the download.
After you click the download link, a prompt should come up:
If it doesn't already have uTorrent as an option, click on "Other..." in the "Open with" dropdown menu and look for "uTorrent". Then hit "OK". The uTorrent program should open and this dialogue box will come up:
Generally, you'll just want to leave the default settings and click "OK".
And that's it! Your file will begin downloading to the default download location you chose when installing uTorrent.
